Hardwareproblem DEC 3000 / 800

Dear Managers,

A quite old DEC 3000 model 800 has hardware problems. After a crash
it remained at console prompt. After a ">>> boot" it fails with an
"nvram error" (or something like that).

After a power cycle boot sequence stops and the small LED display at
the front of the machine shows "F0".

Any idea what's wrong?
