I want to thank all the people who have contributed to this call which I
made some 3 months ago.
Well the good news is I have the answer!! Quite by accident I discovered a
minor but irritating mistake I had made in the configuration of the cluster
ASE services.
Seems I had created the cluster with only the Xover cable network connection
as the primary service. I had failed to add the LAN network addresses as the
BACKUP connections!!!! Just kick me now.
Anyway. Added these and Valla! idle node reboots and has no effect on the
cluster users.
