ppp and BIND

Dear managers!

I have been successful configuring a dial-out connection to some ISP
using pppd 2.3.9 on a VERY old DEC3000/300 (yes, indeed) under Tru64
V4.0F. Almost everything works ok, but address resolution doesn't work
within Netscape (maybe something's wrong with reverse address lookup).
ping, nslookup, ftp, telnet all work fine. I can even pull e-mails from
a POP server using netscape messenger, but navigator complains about
unreachable servers. Rumors say that there are some peculiarieties with
respect to BIND, ppp and dynamic IP addresses/client names. Can someone
please shed some light on this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards

Peter
