Summary update:recall last command

Please add 'Rodney Simioni' to the list of respondents. His response came
after I sent out the summary and his reply was the one that really worked
the way I wanted.

At the promt i typed
ksh
set -o vi

I am now able to use esc k and recall my last command - no errors returned.
