We have been using Tru64 Unix v5.0a on a ES40 for sometime now. I was quite
surprised to find port:2301 running some sort of http server.
I can only assume that when I installed Unix last year, this software was
Automatically installed for me how nice!

Could any point me to where the config file are?
What accounts are active for the above, and what are the passwords?
Where can I find the docs?
I did notice a reboot option, glad to say it is disabled. But how do you
enable it?
What steps do you need to take to stop it from starting at bootup time?

Summary
Many thanks to all that replied to my request for help. I did manage to
find a short paragraph about the Insight manager in the release notes for
v5.0a (page:5-19), being configured as default when you install the
operating system. As the administrator it would be nice to be given the
option to have it working or not. Then by going down the SETUP INSIGHT
MANAGER path you would then know if you have enabled it or not. Many users
like myself (30+ e-mails) were surprised to find this port opened, and up
and running.

The active accounts are only anonymous, to login as the administrator, try
running the following:
(you need root access for this).

I do hope this account was disabled beforehand in some sort of way not just
set to some password!
Checking for installed products.
# grep -i cpqlogin /usr/.smdb./*.inv
Monitoring and Tuning > Set up Insight Manager
For here you can set the administrator password.
START/STOP
Try the following:-
# /sbin/init.d/insightd start|stop
To stop it from starting at boottime try:-
# /usr/sbin/rcmgr set INSIGHTD_CONF –1
