Hi Managers,

Could you please help me in getting my doubts cleared.

1. Do we have a concept of LUN (Logical unit Number) Grouping on Tru64 Unix.
What I mean of LUN Grouping is to bind a group of LUNs to behave as one.
This means that when one LUN of the group fails over, they all fail over. If
one LUN fails back, they all fail back. If this feature is available, could
you please tell me the command / system call for this.

2. Is there any way on Tru64 Unix (either at command level or API level) I
can find out which controllers are managing which LUNs since at any given
time, a LUN is owned by one and only one controller.

3. Can we designate multiple paths to a LUN so that the load is distributed
across all these LUNs according to a round-robin policy. For doing this is
any command/system call is available on Tru64Unix.

4. Can we disble any particular LUN. (I tries doing with hwmgr but could not
able to get it)

Regards,

vsp.
