Hi,
I'm running 4.0F on a 164LX with an Intraserver Wide-SCSI controller. On
4.0D I had to install had to install the driver shipped with the
controller to get recognized by the system. On 4.0F support for this
controller should be included in the system (at least while booting the
kernel the following is found: itpsa0 at pci0 slot 9 IntraServer ROM
Version V1.0 (c)1998).
I also installed patch-kit 5 which contains a patch for the ITPSA
driver.
But nevertheless the following messages appear on the console:
Apr 1 17:01:58 tycho vmunix: ITPSA4: DIP intr, istat = 0x9, dstat =
0x81
Apr 1 17:02:01 tycho vmunix: ITPSA4: illegal instruction - DSP =
0x820213b8, DCMD = 0xf1
Apr 1 17:02:01 tycho vmunix: ITPSA4: HTH intr. on bus 4, SBCL = 0x21
Apr 1 17:02:01 tycho vmunix: ITPSA4: SCSI Bus was reset
The entry in the error log looks like this:

Thanks,
Peter
