multiple AdvFS volumes on a RAID 10 set

I've been reading Hancock's book on the Tru64 file systems and it is
leading me to a question...

I have a KZPAC with a bunch of 18GB drives. Assume I make the drives
a RAID 0+1 set. Because of the KZPAC limitation I have to create
several 32GB disks inside the one large RAID set. Now, at the file
system level, do I gain any performance by making those disks a
multivolume AdvFS domain? My gut feeling is no but I can't quite get
my head around it.
