2100 and StorageWorks Configuration Question

My boss has asked me to find out if the following configuration is "doable."

We have 2 2100s. He proposes to install a KZPBA-CB in each. Then he would
use a "Y" cable with a terminator on one leg to connect to the KZPBA-CB with
the other leg going to a TRILINK connected to a 16 bit differential
personality board installed in a DS-BA356-RC cabinet. Both 2100s would be
connected in the same way. The idea would be to make the disks in the
cabinet accessible to both. We do not need or want simultaneous access to
the same disk drives from both systems. The idea is to build on my previous
proposal for building a multiple OS version environment. Each disk (or
"set" of disks) would contain an OS and software unique to that OS. We
might have 4.0G on one disk, 5.0A on another, and 5.1 on yet another. We
would like to be able to boot either of the 2100s from whichever disk/OS
combination we need at the time. Each machine would then access only those
disk(s) and no others in the DS-BA356-RC.

Can this work? If you need a better explanation or more information to make
an educated answer, please contact me, and I'll try to make this
description clearer or more complete. Thanks!
