Hi ,
On one of our system the /var partition is growing very rapidly. It was
75% two months back and it is now at 99%. I am suspecting that the
reporting may be error. Below is the output of the df command:
Filesystem 512-blocks Used Available Capacity
Mounted on
/dev/rz0a 380286 251470 90786 74% /
/proc 0 0 0 100% /proc
/dev/rz0g 1603526 1113416 329756 78% /usr
/dev/vol/volume_var 1983332 1751422 33576 99% /var
/dev/vol/volume_dxd 3982136 610958 2972964 18%
/var/dxd
/dev/vol/volume_archive 1983332 10 1784988 1%
/var/mta/archive
/dev/vol/volume_opt 1983332 259892 1525106 15%
/usr/opt
Unix Version 4.0D
I am afraid of rebooting the box, since I suspect that the box may not
come back fine.
The var is on LSM volume. Any suggestions to bring this var volume down
or what should I look into ?
