Hi Manager,

I have a saveset which is splitted across two tapes. I tried rvrestore but
stopped when it reached the end-of-tape. After tape changed, it kept
prompting:

rvrestore: unable to read from device </dev/nrmt0h>; [-1] (null)
rvrestore: do you want to retry? y
remote error from read() is: No space left on device
or the filepath could be too long for remote rmt version
(older versions only allowed 64 characters): errno 28

I also tried "rsh remote dd if=/dev/nrmt1h bs=64k | vrestore xf -" but still
failed when it reached the end-of-tape.

BTW, is there anyway to vdump/vrestore of quotas for non local filesystems?

TIA and regards,
Raymond
