Thanks for Rochelle Lauer for assistance.
In a TruCluster, the cluster alias must be the NIS master.
'ypwhich -m' should return the cluster alias (C) for each map.
We also skipped the step of 'populating' the /var/yp/src directory -- so
that was a big oversight!

Subject: How to configure NIS with TruCluster 5.1
Tru64 Managers:
We have a 2-node cluster running 5.1. We'll call the nodes A and B, and the
cluster alias C.
We configured NIS and said that C is the NIS Master. But when we try to run
any NIS-related commands (such as trying to add a user), the system
complains that we must be on the Master [whether we're logged into A or B].
Can't the cluster alias "C" be the NIS master? Or do we need to declare
either A or B as the NIS master, and give up the failover capability?
