Thaks for all who guessed that this could be security problem and suggested
me to run xhost command on local machine to allow the remote system to
connect to the local system's display. Along with this I also added a ptys
entry in /etc/securettys file.
But none of these allowed me to set the display to my local machine.
Any other thoughts from you.
