Many thanks to everyone who replied. The original question was:

"What's the best way to monitor available disk space?"

The solutions, listed in order most suggested, include:

1. Write a script. By far the most popular. Thanks to all who sent me
samples! The one I ended up using was a korn shell written by Pat O'Brien.
If anyone is interested in it, let me know and I'll be glad to send it
along. It's pretty robust and elegant, with multiple levels of
e-mail notification. Andy Cohen made a worthy improvement suggestion, and I
made some tweaks to hopefully make it easier to customize.
2. Use AdvFS. It lets you set a free space alert. The GUI application
(dxadvfs) lets you set it up. While this capability was mentioned a lot,
there was some sentiment that it wasn't the greatest and I'm not sure
anyone responded who was actually using this. One downside to this could be
it's advfs-only, which may not be acceptable for some folks.
3. Use Big Brother (www.bb4.com). Definitely used by a number of people.
4. Use Performance Manager. This product is on the Associated Products CD.
