Summary: Will increasing the block size on tar, eek out much more space on a tape backup?

The feeling is chances are it wouldn't free up enough for a GB, maybe some
MB's if lucky.

Right now, we are using the default block size of 20, but I increase that,
will I
get much more space on the tape drive (meaning maybe a GB more?)
