Advise from Alan_at_nabeth
The procedures for upgrading firmware are designed to
go forward, not backward. I'd take some
precautions just in case. The controller
configuration is kept in NVRAM on the controllers. If
the change from version to version requires changing
the NVRAM copy of the configuration, an upgrade should
handle it. Backing down versions probably won't try
to convert back. I'd get a full hard copy listing of
the configuration:
SHOW THIS FULL
SHOW OTHER FULL
SHOW DEVICE FULL
SHOW STOR FULL
SHOW UNIT FULL
