Hai,
I have a customer with ES40 running Tru64 V5.1, and they add KZPDA card to
connect their brand new reel tape. After they install KZPDA and boot to
Tru64, they got error like this:
Mailbox failure during init retrying
Unable to read back firmware from chip
Unable to allocate config memory for console firmware image
Cam logger : bus 5 target 1 lun 0
And then system is repeating that messages. I don't know what device in bus
5 target 1 lun 0, because there are only 3 scsi card installed, so there are
only 3 bus, am I right?
And they try to boot with genvmunix, and they got the same errors. And when
I remove this KZPDA card, and boot to OS, the problem is gone.
Before the card is installed in this machine, I have try in different ES40
with the same OS and there isn't problem like that
Can someone please help in diagnosing this behavior?
