I have a very confusing problem that hopefully someone can help me with.
We have an Oracle 8.1.6 instance running under Tru64 5.1. Two users have
access to the instance. Each is a member of a dba group and each have the
same ulimit set. As one of these users I have no problem, however as the
other I receive the following error when I try to start up sqlplus/svrmgrl:
135461:/oracle/INST/816_64/bin/oracle: /sbin/loader: Fatal Error: Cannot map
library libwtc8.so
ORA-12547: TNS:lost contact
I can perform no database access as this user.
Any help would be gratefully received!
