Printing problem with HP2250

Hi Managers,

we use HP's Business Inkjets 2250TN for color printing. Since our server
runs DU 4.0D, I decided to use the ppdof filters and the ppd file from
the Windows driver software.
Our users have the following problem: When someone tries to print an
almost A4 size figure, the printer cuts off about 3 centimeters of the
figure at the bottom of the page, far too much for a standard print margin.
I already checked the following things: We use the +OPageSize=A4 option
for the ppdof filter in /etc/printcap (in the if and of lines), and the
page size is set to A4 in the printer's menu.

Is there somebody who can help? Did I miss some ppdof switch? Is there a
better ppd file for this printer in this environment? What software do
you use for recent printers and older DU versions? We need at least
paper source selection by software.

Best regards,
Ralf Eichmann
