Hi admins,

Anybody can tell me, How does sticky bit works???

I have a shell script called it "script", the owner is root.

But, i wan that a user "operator", execute el shell script "script".

The problem here is that el script, execute some comands above few
directories
were user "root" can excute them.

     But, operator can't.

Then i set the attributes of shell script "script", setting the follow:

          chmod 2750 script

     this is

          r w x r - s - - -

The users "operator" is on same groups that root : "op"

The user "operator" execute the shell script "script", but not is working.
The solution??? Operator, not is allow to execute
     commands above this directories.

I thing that "chmod 2750...", allow that operator execute el shell script
"script" as root????

if this, then operator, should can execute the script without problem, or
not???

Anybody can explain me, how do i do this????

Regards,
Pablo Salazar
