Dear managers,

We are using Digital UNIX V4.0D. Currently we use Networker to backup
database every morning at 7:00am. I'd like to set up a cron job to use
vdump so we can do backup at night. Here's the problem:
1. The tape was labeled in Networker. After dumping to the tape, I used
vrestore -t -f /dev/nrmt0h and got error: unable to use save-set;
invalid or corrupt format. I checked vdump(8), it says I need first
clear the disk label. I don't know how to clear it. Could anybody help
me?
2. I've never used digital UNIX before. I'd like to know how to vdump
several directory into a tape. Can I use 1 command include all direcotry
or I need to use 1 vdump for each diractory like this:
vdump -CDNf /dev/nrmt0h /u01/oradata/PROD
vdump -CDNf /dev/nrmt0h /u02/oradata/PROD

Thank you very much
