In case anyone's interested, Oracle's Enterprise and Standard rdbms version
8.1.7 for Tru64 UNIX, as well as the free Internet File System add-on, can
now be downloaded from
http://technet.oracle.com (free login required).
This is a full-use database, no time bombs or restricted features, although
if you don't have an Oracle license for it, then it's officially a 1-user,
1-server development license. (You can find the exact license information
online)
Good for those of us who would like to download the media instead of
ordering it.
