I have a system that is panic'ing about twice a day with
a "kernel memory panic". This is an AlphaServer 800
5/500
with 2GB of RAM, version 5.1 plus patch level 3
installed.

Here's the console output:

trap: invalid memory read access from kernel mode

    faulting virtual address: 0x00000000002c0a40
    pc of faulting instruction: 0xfffffc00003eacc0
ra contents at time of fault: 0xfffffc00003eb0e0
sp contents at time of fault: 0xfffffe04a1fdf960

panic (cpu 0): kernel memory fault
syncing disks... done

Anyone else see this with 5.1? As usual, please send
replies directly to me and I'll summarize to the list.
