We have about 3500 user accounts on our current machine (dual CPU AS2100
5/250, 1GB RAM, Tru64 v4.0d). We use it for personal file storage, email
hosting (POP, IMAP, web, Pine and Elm), personal web page hosting (Apache),
and backup DNS.
We have just purchased (2) dual CPU 6/667 DS20E, 1 GB RAM for a 2-node
TruCluster (v5.1). In addition to replacing the above functions, and with
the addition of Advanced Server (v5.x), we hope to share logins/passwords
with our NT network - and possibly use it as a BDC.
This will be our first use of both the TruCluster software and Advanced
Server. Are there any "gotchas" along the way I need to look out for? Any
useful links/documentation anyone has found? Anything you might have done
differently if you had known?
