lpd error: Invalid argument

Hello,

The lpd daemon on our DU 5.1 box is frequently writing the following
message in lpr.log (LPD's entry in syslog.conf is lpr.err):

Jun 20 08:25:56 odin lpd[192758]: ERROR -- close_trace: close(6) failed
-- print queue may hang, error: Invalid argument

Less often, I see:

Jun 20 08:32:14 odin lpd[203469]: ERROR -- lpstat: homes: unknown
printer
Jun 20 08:32:14 odin lpd[203469]: ERROR -- exiting ...

We don't have a printer named 'homes', if I'm reading this correctly.

Multiple lpd's (four, exactly) are starting whenever the lpd startup
script is run; however, from the users' perspective, printing seems to
work just fine.

Thanks,

-adam
