Legato Release Supplement for 6.02 on page 28, mentions the following:

Compaq Patches Required for NetWorker Release 6.0 or Later on Compaq
Tru64 UNIX 5.x (LGTpa27333)

If you are running NetWorker release 6.0 or later on Compaq Tru64 UNIX
release 5.1 or 5.0a, you must install the appropriate Compaq patch to
ensure that save sets scheduled by NetWorker software complete
successfully:

For NetWorker release 6.0 or later on Compaq Tru64 UNIX 5.1, install
Patch 399 for Tru64 UNIX 5.1 and TruCluster 5.1 Patch Kit-0003.

For NetWorker release 6.0 or later on Compaq Tru64 UNIX 5.0a, install
Patch 286 for Tru64 UNIX 5.0a AND TruCluster 5.0a Patch Kit-0003.

For more information regarding either of these two patches, contact
Compaq. Be sure to check with Compaq for the most recent patches, Compaq
Tru64 and Compaq TruCluster patches are accumulative.

We are not yet patched. I am in the process of investigating this
Compaq patch kit. I didn't get to Pat before he summarized his Legato
question today, now I have additional questions. Should I apply the
whole patch kit or just patch 399? I am runing Legato 6.02 and TRU64
UNIX 5.1 We are not clustered. We do have a few problems with save
sets terminating normally. Sometimes they abandon, and some times
"6.01" we see broken pipes. Our "NT" clients behave normally. The "NT"
clients are at level nt4.0sp6 and a mixture of Legato levels from 5.5
through 6.1
