Connecting second BA370

I just got a second StorageWorks BA370 cabinet which I'm adding to an
existing system which has a BA370 and two HSZ70's. The documentation on
connecting the second BA370 is very confusing. There are six scsi cables
which connect the IO modules on one rack to the IO modules on the second
rack. While it's clear that IO module 1 on one BA370 connects to IO
module 1 on the other, it's not clear which of the two ports on each
module I should be using. I _think_ the left port on my existing box
goes to the right port on the new box. Anyone know?

Second, can these be connected with the system running or do I have to
shut everything down?
