Sorry for the late summary
I forgot to mention that the advfs domain I wish to shift is also one part
of a 2 volume LSM disk group
and that we are version 4.0f -- so no sign of the 'cfsmgr' utility.
I think what I need to do is
(1) dismantle the advfs domain,
(2) modify the ASE disk config ,
(3) remove the volume from the LSM disk group
(4) set up a new LSM disk group
(5) add the old volume into the new disk group
(6) set up the advfs domain again
(7) modify the ASE config ( maybe I don't need to do this or step (2) )
(8) try relocating across to the other server.
If not, would a simple voldg deport be the story? ( after step 5)
