I have an es-40 w/ 4.0f, and a raid controller (KZPCC-CE) with two
channels.. I am installing a tape drive (TLZ09), and am not sure what I'm
forgetting, or missing.
The first time I did this installation, the raid configuration was screwed
up. After booting with the new card, the entire channel 1 didn't show up,
and I got alot of Scsi execution errors..and ultimately, wouldn't boot up to
multi user level.
After removing the Qlogic scsi card, the tape drive, and replacing the KZPCC
card, everything was okay, however, I'm nervous now about installing the
tape drive again.
If anyone has done so, please inform me of any steps I'm missing that could
be leading to these errors.
