problems upgrading 5.0a to 5.1 in a cluster

Greetings,

         I've hit a problem right off the bat trying to upgrade a two node
cluster from 5.0a to 5.1. Here is what I get:

>root_at_ying.lightbridge.com:/% clu_upgrade -v check setup ying
>Retrieving cluster upgrade status.
>Retrieving cluster status.
>Retrieving upgrade-related system configuration.
>
>'ying' is not a valid Member ID.
>root_at_ying.lightbridge.com:/%

Any help would be appreciated.
