Hello all,
I'm in the process of returning some equipment to our supplier, and am
trying to assure that the disks are sent back in the same minty-fresh
condition we received them (i.e. containing no user data). For the local
SCSI disks I'm running the /usr/lbin/zeero command, but I'm wondering how
best to accomplish this on my HSG80 array? From glancing through the
utilities in the Maintenance and Service Guide, it looks like running the
DILX exerciser with Write enabled should pretty effectively scribble on the
drives...but A) will it completely overwrite the drives? and B) is the
more direct/effective method to wipe a disk clean from the HSG?
Thanks!
Dan
