VT520 termnial locks after upgrade 4.0e to 4.0g

Hello,
The operators just reported to me that their vt520 terminal locks on the
server that I just upgraded to 4.0g.
This is a standard vt520 with 4 sessions. It connects through an
DecServer500 and when it is on the server session that I just upgraded
it is now locking several times a day.

We are running lat. I don't know when or how it locks where do I start
troubleshooting it.

AlphaServer 2000 4/233 128MB memory, 2GB swap space. Thanks
