Thanks to Ed Branley, Dr. Thomas Blinn, Alan Davis, Paul McDowell, Wade
Buchanan, Mahendra Rajah, Steve LaBelle, Tim Brown, and Shane Southwood for
their response. I turned out that I could do everything I wanted through
the GUI. I just had to select the correct default table.
Thanks again,

Subject: disklabel
Admins,
I am installing 5.1 on a ES40 and I am needing to customize my
disklayout. The graphics mode was not being cooperative because it only
gave me root, usr, var, and swap. However, on this disk I am needing root,
usr, var, swap and tmp to be separate partitions. I had the idea of booting
from the cd, exiting to a shell, labeling the disk like I need it and
proceding with the install. Can anyone tell me if this is possible and if
so, how to do it.
Thanks,
Chris Bryant
