dear all

I have a TRU64 5.1 cluster with fibre storage attached vi 4 brocade silkworm
switches. all disks have multiple paths ( at least two) through different
switches for resilience. All works exceptionally well!

However,,,, one on the brocades was accidentally rebooted and now the emx (
KGPSA-CA) cards in each node connected to that switch appear to be switched
off, i.e. they have not performed a plogi or a flogi ( port and fabric
logins) nothing would seem to persuade them to do so.

this means we are running on single paths now, but all is working ok.

Compaq engineer is suggesting that the only way to get the emx cards "turned
on" is to reboot, which I cannot do at this time.

Anyone else seen this?

anyone any suggestions

emx driver is 1.29d

thanks
