Hi Managers,
I have a 3 node Digital UNIX 4.0F TCR1.6 ASE cluster running Patch Kit 4 and want to upgrade it to Patch Kit 6.
Is it sufficient to fail over the services off one of the nodes, install the patch kit as you would for a non clustered system, then repeat the process on the other 2 nodes?
Is it necessary to delete the nodes from the cluster using asemgr?
The patch installation guide seems to be general for DU4.0 and Tru64 5.x. It mentions rolling upgrades but that seems to be for V5 clusters.
I've installed patch kits of various non clustered systems, but I want find out if the procedure is different for a cluster.
