Hello everyone,

We are currently in the process of upgrading some of our server to 5.1 from
4.0f.

On most machines it was quit simple. Install the latest firmware patch then
upgrade to 4.0g and make the jump to 5.1.

I am currently trying to upgrade a 4100 running 4.0f . The firmware patch
and upgrade to 4.0g
go as expected. After running the upgrade for 5.1 and the reboot, the 4100
dumps then reboots..
Dumps and reboots, in a loop. Halting the system and doing a boot -lf s
gets me to single user mode.
Once I try to mount the root filesystem, it again starts the dump/reboot
loop. I have also tried
boot -lf c and bool -lf -i genvmunix, which again sends me to the loop.

Any ideas? We have been working with Compaq on this issue for a few
hours now, but no solution have been found.
