Thanks everyone who responded, I dumped the Mylex for now and slid in a IBM
Deskstar 32gb IDE drive (ugh.. this is a DS10 anyway) until i get my
replacment mylex from Compaq. ANYWAY.. after getting the machine rebuilt and
licenses installed etc the overwhelming consensus was to use "advscan"

i issued: advscan -r /dev/disk/dsk3c /dev/disk/dsk4c /dev/disk/dsk5c

it proceeded to scan the HSG70 disks and then in /etc/fdmns it created
domain files with a different name than original (it was dsk3cdsk4cdsk5c if
i remember right.. something like that). I renamed the domain with advfs
utilities and ran a verify.. all seems to be well. My mp3 collection is
intact.. thanks to everyone for your help!

Hello everyone, I had an older mylex DAC960 go bad this morning which isnt
half of the problem. I dont mind rebuilding this machine at all but heres
where the problem lies:
This machine also has a Qlogic scsi adapter in it which hooks up to a HSG70,
now i have 3 raidsets on the HSG70 that were all meshed into one using AdvFS
domain to make a 250gb mount. Is there anyway to recover this mount???? or
since i've lost my only way to boot/extract data off the machines primary
raid and cant get the file domain info off im up the creek?
no i didnt have this machine backed up.. its my personal mp3 storage machine
that i want to attempt to recover 100+ gb of mp3s back from :)
