Now I know why I love this list!!

Let me catagorize the replies:

-Suggestions to upgrade to sendmail 8.9+ or to add a rule in Sendmail
(i would but i'm on a marked system and administrative types won't
let me upgrade anything! that's why i'm running v5.65)

-Apply TCP wrappers and run w/smtp (i think i'll try this later)

-Block the address at the interface using ifaccess.conf
(i tried this but the external address never resolved because
of our firewall and external router.)

- A perl script to scrub the trash messages from the mailbox.
(the script worked great but i would have had to run it continuously
to keep up with the trash!)

-Install procmail and filter the messages. (This is what I did and it
worked great!)
But my supervisor (an MS *%#_at_!) decided he wanted the user's
mail forwarded to an NT/2000 for scrubbing instead.

Thanx to everyone,
