SOLUTION: Word perfect printing problem

I figured out what the problem was. The /usr/ucb/lpr file had the wrong file permissions. The Word Perfect site indicated the permission should be set to 6711, but doing this it disables all the users printing capabilities. I changed the file permissions to 6755 and it solved the problem.

  Subject: Word perfect printing problem

  Hi:
I am a Tru64 platform user. We use Word Perfect 7 for Unix. I am the only one able to print to any printer setup within Word Perfect because I have administrator priviledges. If I login as a regular user, I get the following error message:

  Error: Spool command -- lpr -Plp3 /tmp/_pp_0000022539_265
Action: Resolve error and then resubmit print job
Press "C" to cancel print job

I have checked the /etc/printcap file and the printers are setup properly.

Users can print from any other program, except from Word Perfect.

  Can you help me?

  Any help will be appreciated.

  Thank you,

  Adriana Ballesteros
