number assigned to the disks

Sir :
I have changed the operating disk but when i try to mount /usr i always
fail .When i check i found that the number was modified .i mean the
number with the speciale file dsk0c the number refer to the old disk
that was in the machine .
Please !!What can i do in order to resolve the problem .
