Installing DLT tape drive

Hi all,

Just a quick question....I am going to install new DLT tape drive 35/70
on one of our AS2100 machines running unix V 4.0G.
What is the exact procedure to do it?
do I just make the dev using:
./MAKEDEV tz18
 or do I have to through booting from file /genvmunix, then make
bcheckrc and doconfig??
