Hi,
We just upgraded(fresh install) our Wildfire(GS16) to v5.1/pk3 from
4.0G/pk2.
We are having a great deal to recognize the HSZ70 disks in the v5.1
environment. Problems looks like the following from the analysis
done using hwmgr and dsfmgr tools.
1. System wouldn't create all the dsk* device files for the disks in the
HSZ controller and creates lot of (null) devices instead
2. Many disks are associated with the same WWID no and
becomes stale entries in the PATH STATE
3. Even though the device special files are created in some cases,
it still wouldn't access the physical device.
I am curious to know if anyone else had faced similar problems before...
btw, HSZ80 disks just work fine as well as the HSZ70 disks on GS140 and
v5.1 environments.
