I have been struggling to setup a RAID5 volume using LSM across 4 36GB drives. It will work using volassist and/or dxlsm; however, the entire fourth disk is used for the log plex, so instead of having a 108GB volume, I only have a bout 72GB. I've tried splitting the fourth drive into two partitions (one 150MB, the rest for the other partition) and adding both to the disk group so I could use the 150MB partition for the log plex, but LSM uses the large partition for the log plex.
I have been unable to find any way to specify which disk to use for the logplex, and I have been unable to create a RAID5 set without a log plex so I could add one later (since I know I can specify a device then). Any ideas on how to make this work would be greatly appreciated.
