All,

As expected, the Tru64-unix-managers list is as good a source of knowledge as
the Sun-managers.

Thanks to Gary Gayle who reported experiencing the exact same problems with up
to 50TB arrays, with no observed data corruption. It seems that the reporting
interfaces (df, mount, disklabel -p) don't like these multi-TB partitions, but
the underlying OS and file system support them with no problems.

Chang Song from DEC also confirmed that this is also just a reporting problem.

sysadmin_at_ astro.su.se gave me a useful crash course in Tru64 patching. I'll be
a Tru64 Admin, yet...

Thanks to everyone on the list,
