Thanks to Marco Benton, Tyler Hall, Jesper Frank Nemholt, Corinne Haesaerts,
and Wolfram Kraft for their responses. It seems that the consesus is to put
it in /etc/sysconfigtab and reboot. I did this and it seemed to work.
Thanks,

Admins,
I am trying to reconfigure the generic: live_dump_dir_name paramater
to something other than the default. I tried using sysconfig -r generic
live_dump_dir_name=/usr/users/crash. I was able to reconfig but it did not
survive a reboot and went back to the default. My question is how can I get
this kernel param to stay with the changed value. Side note, dxkerneltuner
is not available to me at this time.
Thanks,
Chris Bryant
