account defaults?

Hi,

I've a simple question. Where are the account defaults set? ie the
standard user shell, the standard $HOME path etc. I know I can set them
using the GUI, but what /command line utilties/files do I need edit/ in
order to set these? The don't seem to be set in /usr/skel or in edauth
defaults, prpasswd entries etc
