Let me also add that the messages I am seeing on the console are not being
sent to /var/adm/messages.

On OSF1 v4.0x - 5.1, is there a location where the console logs its
messages? I would like to be able to view these messages locally on my
workstation, but dxconsole fails to connect and I can not find any log that
has the error messages I am receiving via the console (the error I am
talking about is a /sbin/loader errer, unable to map libperl.so).
If there is not a default log, is there maybe an entry I can add to the
/etc/syslog.conf or something else to print console messages to a log?
