Dear all,
I am sadly having to install Compaq Analyse on a 4.0F DS20E (with
NHD v3 "the return") and this beautiful piece of software just doesn't
want to install. At the moment it has been stuck for a good 20m on:
Configuring "Compaq WEBES Common Components V1.0 Base kit" (WCCBASE100)
Configuring "COMPAQ Analyze V1.0 Documentation" (CADOC100)
COMPAQ Analyze V1.0 subset CABASE100 has been successfully loaded.
Configuring "COMPAQ Analyze V1.0 Base kit" (CABASE100)
A quick ps shows:
20466 ttypa I + 0:00.02 sh usr/.smdb./CABASE100.scp INSTALL
20472 ttypa I + 0:00.01 ksh /usr/sbin/desta stop
20485 ttypa I + 0:00.01 sh -c /usr/opt/compaq/svctools/bin/desta_exec -ss 256K -ms 8M -mx 24M com.compaq.svctools.desta.cli.SendDEST
20487 ttypa S + 0:00.48 /usr/opt/compaq/svctools/bin/desta_exec -ss 256 -ms 8 -mx 24 com/compaq/svctools/desta/cli/SendDESTAMsg -s
which looks vaguely to me as something either Java-based or
SNMP-based. It doesn't look like it is waiting on a signal according
to

Is there anything more recent to download (according to
www.support.compaq.com you can't download WEBES) or can I try the
Analyze from 4.0G, or ?
