SUMMARY:Connecting HP disks to Alpha 1000

Hi , thanks to David Rabjohns, Kurt Ludwig,and bac20000

No dice on this machine... may have something to do with the Alpha having
narrow SCSI and the HP of the wide variety? By the way it is a HP A3311A
'Jamaica' HASS enclosure. What I did was 1) check the devices on the Alpha
1000 , 2) power everything off 3) set the SCSI ID'S of the 4 disks on the HP
array to ( 5,6, 8,9) 4) connect the array 5) power on 6) see the disks
that were on 1st SCSI bus disappear.

We do have another AS2100 which used to be connected to a RA450 array, still
has the cables ( terminated) plugged in . Will try that next.
