Folks,
I have an incredibly huge file (460+ MB) sitting
in my /var/cluster/members/{memb}/preserve
directory on one of my Tru64 5.1 PK3 machines.
Since it's eating up a ton of space in my backups
(which is filling up a disk, which keeps causing
midnight wakeup calls), I am wondering if it is
safe to get rid of this file.
Looking at my other nodes, the same file exists,
but is only 360kb, and hasn't been accessed in an
incredibly long time. This one got this big just
recently after some hardware problems that I
experienced.
Does anyone know if anything catastrophic will
happen if I get rid of this file?
Thanks in advance,
--Blake
